Badge change

Featured Replies

just seen some vrs wheels with the vrs logo on instead of the skoda badge and looks a lot better imo

anyone know where to get the vrs logo badges? and also do they fit all round the car (wheel, bonnet and boot)? and how easy are they to change? is it a case of just popping the old ones out or is it to much hastle?

any advice/opinions on the matter would be helpful, also any pics if anyone has already done it

my reputation precedes me! :giggle:

Unless it was very old pic it is likley to be some of my handiwork; although i believe they can also be found on the old Bay of E.

have a look at this thread for the examples of my work (pics start around page 5)

or this thread for a wheel and V logo specific pic

there is also a set or 2 of black backgrounded ones - found the thread

changing them in a preverbial piece of pee

Bonnet and boot OEM ones are held on with sticky foam padding which the badge needs separating from, clean the area then stick mine in it's place.

wheels are just as simple - there's even a thread on it - remove centre caps - put in hot water for a few minutes to soften the glue, peel off OEM metal section, stick on my replacement put bcak in your wheels!

easy peasy lemon squeezy

ye thats the sort of thing i want, looks nice on the wheels, did you have to change the wheels over or did you manage to pop the old badge out and replace them?

i haven't managed to get them out yet - I think the suction cup idea might work but i don't have anything suitable to use - probably just pop the wheels off and do it that way - the fronts could do with the brake dust scrubbing off the inside anyways!

Suggestion for suction cup....

One of those child / baby / princess /tw@ on board signs would have

a sucker pad smaller than 55mm I reckon.

I do not know whether Pastyboy does this type, but I bought these off Ebay for my Fabia

And on my Octavia I had the ones that Mas (member on here) produced - albeit it about 5 years ago!

yup i could do (but haven't yet done) carbon effect ones like those ones

I was thinking of starting another group buy :S

I'd be in the market again matey if you did....kid I bought these off on Ebay was a right c**k.

Sent me these no problem....then I bought one, grill size, which I actually wanted for my engine cover.

Took my money..no badge, told me he'd sent it 3 times in total...still no badge. Then when I chased it again, told me to eff off!

Quality!

I'll keep my eyes open in the group buy section :)
