Maxidot display....what o ptions should be available?

Featured Replies

Apologies if this is a dumb question (wouldn't be the first time!), but my vRS has a Maxidot display and I thought I'd get more options from it than I seem to be able to find. It seems that as it stands it's simply a trip computer (mpg, average mpg, trip, speed warning, etc, etc) whereas I was under the impression that it would include a menu that let you configure various options in the car (convenience lights, etc).

Am I doing something wrong? Or are there different types of Maxidot that include different options....and I've only got the bog standard one?

Thanks

Its because its black , they work properly on blue ones , not sure really but i think theyre all the same Ed , you can configure them i think .

To access the setting, press and hold whilst stationary the top part of the rocker switch on the wiper stalk. Then select from the various options available. You can only access the setting menu when the car is stationary, if you dont get a menu when holding the rocker pressed then you dont have a maxidot display.
