I have a standard 2006 fabia vRS and am in the market for an upright bike roof rack, with the option to fix a storage container for long journeys with the family. We have a second child on the way and need some extra space.

What setup do I need?

Does anyone have any suggestions?

(Also if anyone is looking to sell there roof rack setup, I'm open to offers I'll be posting in the wanted section!)

Hello mate,

Just bought Thule 561 Outride carriers (they use front QR in fork, rather than strapping the wheel in - you can lock the QR shut on the fork which makes them harder to nick ) and going to pop into Halfords saturday to sort out bars for them.

Good website I've found is: http://www.roofrackshop.co.uk/Car-Products/0001c.aspx - although the Halfords website and they recommend different Thule parts to fit the rack to the car!
