I personally don't think it is worth the risk. The Vrs Turbo is quite a sensitive thing and if you put a decat on then it could possibly cause the turbo to overboost and cause damage.

The cat is also there to reduce the number of harmful gases so from an environmental standpoint, again i wouldn't

he isnt replacing the cat, its a cat back so goes from the cat back ?

personally the noise will increse a minute amount....

but you get the added bonus of having a nice tailpipe and lifetime use...

but it wont sound like a petrol no matter what you do

I have a jetex cat back system, cost £240. Its quite subtle.

Everyone said to me i`d hardly notice the difference in sound, but it sounds totally different! Pottering about, its fine, sounds no different, but 3rd gear, full chat, 3k rpm+ its really deep. But then again, it will depend on the exhaust i guess, mine is a scorpion.

I`m well chuffed with it, although mine was only £200ish

supose i have a Miltek with miltek cat but i believe miltek are performance and quiet?

Sound is a bit deeper an quite boomy sometimes but I liked it on my old Ibiza FR TDI - Milltek all the way

i had a jetex system couple of years ago,[ was great quality],that was on a petrol and sound difference was hardly noticeable, is it noticeable at all on the vrs? might get myself 1 at some point

its a good quality system in terms of build and fit. I only notice the sound when i'm above 3500rpm.It has a deeper tone to it and sounds quite nice but not overboard.

The turbo does spool up a bit quicker and I did find it seemed a bit freer up the top end.

I've got a scorpion cat back and it sounds very nice. Not a huge amount of difference, but the oval looks better, and when booting it you get a nice rasp off it. Especially in the Conwy tunnels.

i have a miltek turbo back no cat and its fine when pottering around but when you put your foot down and come on boost it just roars out of the back and you can hear the turbo spooling down when changing gears lol me personally i think its mint

I was looking at a cat back for my 100 Comfort

I know that I will be needing the bumper replacing as they do not do the tails for the 100
