Emailed the dealer last Friday to see if he had any news of delivery or a build week, and after all the long delays reported on here was not hopeful.Get a call back and told its in the country and I can pick it up this Friday !

I ordered it last week of Feb, so about a 8 week wait, not too bad.

So this Saturday all being well should be driving my silver elegance Yeti tdi and I cannot wait. Hurrah ! Photo to follow.

Bad news !

I emailed the dealer last week to see if any news etc, or find a build date and he called back, told me it was in the country and that they should have ot Monday or Tuesday (19th , 20th) and pick up this Friday. So after sending insurance notes etc I was all excited. I get another email to say they dont have it and that they will have to await a fax from Skoda UK, telling them when they will deliver it. So back to square one alas. Cannot really blame the dealer as they have no control when its delivered to them, but must admit I am dissapointed. Still, hopefully he was correct (I hope) when he said it was in the country so it should not be too long.

Starting to think getting the mythical car is like finding mythical monster !
