I placed my order for an Octavia Scout in Feb thru Cars Direct - i keep on ringing them and i'm told we'll ring you back when we get an answer from Skoda - but nothing - they've told me that they should have a chassis number by the end of Apr - just wondered if this volcano has got anything to do with it!!!

Scout 1.8 ordered 29 January, with some extras added. As is usual, I had to contact the dealer to find info! Phoned dealer yesterday, to be told: "Skoda's computer system should be updated in real time but isn't. Car due at dealers 2 > 5 weeks time. Best guess is 3 weeks".

My Scout ordered on 10 March is out of production, it was week 16 build so this week, and it is out of production awaiting transport which should take 2 weeks.

Ordered mine 23 Jan from Skoda dealer & will be picking it up tomorrow (23 April) so just inside in the 8-12 weeks estimated delivery date. It was sitting at the port in Germany for nearly 2 weeks waiting to be shipped & arrived at Sheerness last weekend. Seems to be much the same timescale as other posts but a few seem to get lucky. For me at least the waiting is nearly over.
