FINALY! after a good few hours of sweatshop labour i have more or less finished polishing the car, valetinging it and putting stuff in the boot for sat! tell us what you think!! There are 3 5liter bottles of screenwash(free from work!) ready for top ups on the day, i gave up on the oil in the end as they only gave me 1 5L carton of 5w-30 FS vw spec so i kept it, as there are alot of cars! :giggle::smirk:

I'm another one giving the car a long overdue clean tomorrow,ready for saturday.

Car cleaning and polishings not exactly my strong point tho,so you may find me parked at the back!

And I'm sure the drive from south wales and three track sessions will soon make it dirty again :(

Jase I was reading the Combe forum this morning and there was a guy attempting to get rid of a couple of slots for a friend

I'm on castle combes mailing list as i've done a few track days there over the last few years,phoned up about 6 weeks ago and asked for 2 sessions,1 before and 1 after the briskoda one.

was told that if i wasnt fussy about the times they would fit me in but the times wouldn't be confirmed till late on.

I thought what the hell,if the sessions they gave me were too close to the briskoda one or clashed with it i'd just flog them on the day.

Passes turned up monday tho and they have given me 11.45 and 16.00 so the three are nicely spaced out!

Better dust off my helmets! B)

I think I will just see what they have left going when I go collect the track passes. Ideally I would like a time quite close to the brisky one, like 2:45 so I don't have to re-warm the engine up again. :thumbup:

Oh yeh the beige is awsome haha it will blind you in the sun however i couldnt clean it that well as iterior cleaner ran out so fabrezed it! haha sadly it stains like a biach from jeans however when i get a vrs im not quite sure whats gona hapen to the white haha! Ill have to get seat surgions on the job!

in other news acidently ran the car without the engine cover on as i forgot i took it off to clean, was great, sounded like an mr2 evryone was looking lmao!! plus it fixed my lumpy tickover how good however hope a quick 5 min stint to the shops and back hasnt set up any problems, however it is fine as far as i know to run a car direct feed to air on a short basis. (done it with the ginetta g12 and the cobra replica!)
