VAGCOM diagnostics needed

I have a 2004 Octy 110 TDI and it keeps going into limp-home mode, i.e. no turbo. It seems to be getting worse and, after reading a few of the topics on this site seems to indiate a number of things - sticky vanes, sticky actuator or a MAF sensor replacement. I've had some Forte fuel treatment through it, but that's not done the trick so, before I spend more money trying to get to the bottom of it, I could do with a VAGCOM diagnostic carried out to see if the issue can be pinpointed.

I live in Preston, Lancashire, and I wondered if there were any Briskoda members in the region with diagnostic equipment that would be willing to hook my car up - I am more than happy to travel locally and give the member a few quid for his/her troubles. I've been told that it is possible to manipulate the turbo actuator using the VAGCOM diagnostic, so if this could be carried out that would be great.

Fault 1 is the symptom of fault 3 - overboost - The MAP sensor being either dead, or the wiring to it has broken

The same thing for the MAF too and the coolant temp sender. Either all 3 sensors are FUBAR'd or some wiring has broken somewhere, perhaps that is linked to the correct operation of all 3?

Had similar results on my 130 1.9TDi. Replaced the temp sensor and still problem persisted.

Disconnected the EGR and all is well. Could well find it's the same problem. Easy to check, pull the upper hose from the EGR and block the vacuum hose with something (I used a suitable sized screw and secured it in with a cable tie for temporary measure). If it's not the successful just remove the screw and re-attach the hose. No harm done.

Im having the same problem. Any chance of a photo as to what you have done?

If I were troubleshooting this problem, I would be looking in the wiring diagrams for something in common to all three failed sensors. Some of these sensors require a regulated positive voltage supply that is generated in the ECU. If that fails, the detector portion of the sensor circuit may erroneously report that the sensor is shorted to ............ because with no reference supply voltage, the output of the sensor becomes unknown. The voltage could be floating anywhere from ground to +12v. .
