I'd like to know this too!

STOO

its wont be that much louder as the rear silencer is huge.....

and the centre resoator is small

maybe a little but not worth save your money and buy a non reseonated performance exhaust

It wont be any louder as , like has been said the centre box is a resonator not a silencer, and all this does is change the tone of the exhaust not the volume.

The only thing to be aware of is that removing the centre box is the drop in back preasure, im not sure the turbo will like that and may over spool, im sure if you talk to someone like Jabbasport thats what they will say unless you get a hybrid turbo fitted and a remap or either or.

I know its not to be done on a diesel due to overspool but im not sure about the VRS but IMHO the mechanical priciples are the same so these rules should apply.

I know ill get lots of replies now say " ive done it and it was fine" and "shut up you dont know what your talking about" but its something that i know the "pros" will say and its just food for thought!

I would of thought as the centre box is not a silencer then the back pressure should not be different. I have run both with and without resonated centre section and not much difference in noise if any. Not worth doing. I run a decat which is noiser(deeper). The best way to get more noise is reduce the back box. .

Forget about the noise, Stealth all the way:D just change the downpipe as that is the most restrictive bit in the whole system and will give the best results.
