im hunting around to see where to get nice shiny bonnet lifters

no pics always makes me question?

you can get them on ebay, think robclubby got some on ebay for his, check out his website, cost a lot less than 70euros!!!

Ebay, £19 I think mine were foliatec ones. Had to drill holes at an angle though to be able to fit the bolts to hold the bonnet ends of the lifters into the bonnet hinges.

I got some off fleabay and without some modifying they wont work, still have them somewhere lol,

not sure, the ones I got needs the screws with the ball in the top bending. or they wont fit lol, its the way the hinge is attached to the bonnet.

The Milotec ones are a direct fit I think. But expensive.

Mine were about a tenner and one of them only lasted two months.

I bought some more locally and am using one of the cheapo ones and one of the new ones at the moment - had to do some modifications to the bolt/hinge thingies.

The ones on Ebay are Corsa B ones which I also have. As Billy states if you don't want to drill new holes you will need to bend the ball joint on the upper bonnet fittings to make them fit. I have had mine 2 years and still work ok. They are strong as I fitted one at first and it still held bonnet up

What about the guys on here that are using Fabia boot lifters? They ok? Oggy Has one he showed me the other day
