2.0PD does irt come with DPF?

Sorry to be lazy, this might hve been posted elsewhere but a friend wants a new car, preferably Diesel but is put off by the DPF (quite a bit of town driving). DPF is not mentioned n the brochure for the PD engines and maybe he should buy one of these before the CR comes in which definately will have a DPF.

My 2.0L PD 140bhp does not have a DPF. I may be wrong, but I believe the 170bhp version does.

My 2008 2.0 PD 140bhp Scout does have the DPF.

All town driving and no issues to date...

The 4x4 Variants and the vRS PD/CR170 both have DPFs, but the other PD140s do not have one.

I would personally wait for the CR engine as it is much more refined. The DPF will not be an issue unless your friends wants to remap it etc and then it may become more of an issue.

I'm not sure how many runners there are are on Briskoda but but instead of hijacking Mac's diary I thought I'd start a general discussion area for runners. Hi, I took my 2018 Karoq for it's annual service and MOT at a dealership last week. It passed the MOT but they have recommended the following remedial work: Engine coolant pump is leaking and needs replacing - £753 (including parts, labour, VAT) Brake fluid change ~ £100 (including parts, labour, VAT) Spark plug change ~ £175 (including parts, labour, VAT) Can anyone recommend a non-dealership garage that could do this work (hopefully for less!) Thanks

Hi All, I'm new to the forum, this being my first post. I am loving the community so far. I have not long ago got a new to me 2016 Octavia Scout. ODBEleven is showing a P047000 'Exhaust Pressure Sensor "A" Circuit'. I did a little searching around has not found much about this exact fault code. Does any one know what the fault is or can point me in the right direction please?

I bought a sportline flat bottom steering wheel but it was the heated version with the view button. I knew the airbag would have a bit of a gap but I didn’t like how it looked or felt overall. So I now have that for sale if anyone is interested. I am on the hunt for a round leather steering wheel. Version with phone button not view button, but with the DSG paddles. If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct part number or even if you have one for sale please let me know!

Hi, im new to the forum. I have a skoda fabia 1.2 tsi 2017. The air con pipes have a kink and has split so im looking for a replacement, im not car savvy in any way so i have no idea what im looking for. The garage have tried to order directly from Skoda however they arent responding so mechanic said if i get the part he will fit it.
