turbo outlet pipe connecting to pancake

Featured Replies

While changing my ARB bushes this weekend i noticed oil weeping down this pipe. I removed the shiney sleeve for a better view and discovered the that pipe rubber pipe attaching to the metal one is not sealing properly. i took it off, cleaned it up and secured it back on...now the bugger keeps coming off when im driving.

i believe 06A 145 790 C is the revised part...will this fix the issue or is there a mod to help stop this? The metal clip which supposedly holds these 2 pipes together is rubbish design!

Have you put the retaining clip back on correctly, it shouldnt come apart if the clip is on right.

yup...even took the whole top metal pipe off the car and tried it..easily pops off......the metal around the rubber pipe looks a bit worn tbh, as well as the O ring...seems like its not sealing properly

might have to bite the bullit and get a new one from dealers :(

most common boost leak issue buy a new one they have revised the rubber seal so it actually works.

i think im having the same problem....did ur o-ring have a lot of play???? after a day of driving the outside of the hose will be damp....when it is all together with clip in place should they fit extremely tight together or is it alright for you to b able to wigle it sum? i have (REV a) and just dont wanna spend the moolah at the dealership....very expensive. when the clip is in i CANNOT pull the hoses apart, although there is play (ie. they dont seat awesome together like i would figure they should)

thanks guys
