My first skoda

Featured Replies

Hi,

going to pick this up next week...

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1478246.htm

Does anyone know the car? I cant wait to get it, it looks pretty awesome.

On the list is coilovers and whiteline ARB's.

I've come from a list of jap cars, almera GTI, Integra DC5, 350Z, Impreza STI.... So hopefully this car will fit the bill currently.

Cheers guys,

I'm searching the net just now and i'm thinking about ordering the weitec coilovers for the VRS But i'm unsure what i should order at the same time so i have a few questions...

Are spring and shock setups just as good as the weitecs for fast road use? I'm just thinking for comfort as i have a baby on the way

Is it worth while fitting front and rear ARB's or is it good enough getting just the rear? Also should they be the adjustable part??

Is there any strut braces that are worth while getting?

After reading into thing a wee bit more it seems that a lot of people are unimpressed with any type of suspension that lowers the car or makes it stiffer.

Would i be correct in saying that a rear ARB would be a good starting point for handling improvementa?
