My vRS :)

Featured Replies

Started to split my old car (Corsa) in October, managed to have everything sold bar a couple of bits by December so put it up for sale. Someone came to view at the start of January, and bought the car there and then. I went to look at a vRS the same day, and collected it the next day...

Lovely looking vRS mate, I had a black one before my current one - loved it. 1st reflection shot is awesome! Looks like you got xenons on there too? Very nice. Please don't make it look anything like that Corsa, now that would be a tragedy.

Yeah you have xenons like me :) yeah agreed with what was said above that corsa is a mcdonalds / halfords carpark special im afraid

you have done exactly what i have (sell the corsa and get a black vrs and get a splitter on it!)

did you fit the lights or did they come with it (as they are the newer type..) if so how much did you pay?

looking good buddy, you got anymore plans for her?

Yeah I got xenons, not something I intentionally went out to get with the car, but the I fell in love when I saw it...not until after did I even realise it had xenons! They're a pain when removing the bumper though, currently the headlight washers dont work as a result....

Haha, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, I loved that Corsa as did many others...featured in magazines a few times too.

It's not halfords, it's all OEM pretty much! The crown on here is a lot older though, so I appreciate it's probably not as popular as it was at shows etc

The car came with the lights mate! Like I said above, didn't even intentionally buy a car with them, was just a bonus for me :D

Yeah a fair few plans, but clutch is stopping things...so as it goes...

Clutch

Maybe tint the headlights (I love stealth, as can be seen by my C)

RARB

Springs & shocks

Tints + few other styling things

Blueflame catback

FMIC

Not really sure where i'm going with it tbh, just see how things go, got a lot to pay for this summer!

Car looks good, nice and shiny!

I want some xenons! Damn it!

Ahh cool! Who's your bro? He a very active user or..?

Love the map mate, just a shame about the clutch slip really! Was dead impressed with standard figures too, which I guess might have contributed to why my clutch is on its way out after only 78k miles

78k on a standard clutch aint bad! Mines popped at 37k at just over 3 years old!

weak clutches :(

That's pretty bad! Mines not 'gone' as such, it slips slightly from 2k RPM, drops back down at 2.3k RPM and carries on as normal in all gears

you shouldnt be flooring it before 2.5k anyways, this is why its slipping!! dont use the torque!

drive it more as a petrol, down change and rev it if you need to go anywhere, staying in a high gear and using the torque will mince your clutch and flywheel in no time!!! i dont boot mine until 3k, but i do have a hybrid turbo :8

Yeah, i've been reading about driving styles etc, so i'll get used to driving like this :)
