Featured Replies

Just got a htc desire phone and was wondering what to get on it as well as where from, don't want any games.....but google goggles looks neat, if I can find it......anything else worth looking at

How are you finding the Desire? I've convinced myself I need to own one :)

Got mine on monday Tim , well pleased with it mate tbh.

I just want the ability to store apps on my micro SD card :(

Oh and please Santa, can I have a bigger battery, oh and a case and a pre cut screen protector and……..oh never mind.

It's got good reviews everywhere - need to find one for a decent price.

I've ventured into the touch screen market twice so far, one was a high end Samsung (I think that was the one I bought off you Pete!) and then the Sony Satio - hated them both :)

Still using my trusty C905 - what an amazing phone that turned out to me.*

(* what amazing phones they've turned out to be - currently on my 3rd as they're soooooo unreliable!)

I upgraded last week from my C905 (3rd replacement handset also!) to the Desire. Very happy with it in every way!

Battery life could be better, however with careful respect paid to killing open apps in the task manager i can stretch it out for almost 2 days.

I was on a £25 pm contract with Orange but with extra bundles it added up to £35pm. I rang Orange to ask when the Desire would be available and they told me it already was and that i was eligible for an upgrade. The handset comes with 500mb internet pm and unlimited texts, which cut my bill back down to £25pm and the handset was free! Excellent deal!

On topic, the best apps i have found so far are the Task Manager for killing background apps, Google Maps which has been updated to provide full turn by turn navigation (free sat nav anyone?!) and the SNES emulator, old school fun!

Oh and apparently the save apps to SD card feature is coming "soon" according to the Devs.
