Do enlighten me fellas, what's wrong with using the exsisting bolts used for the fabia alloys?

I've run steelies on mine since around October '09 on the exsisting bolts from my alloys :wonder:

There is a different part number for use with steel wheels and it looks to me like they are a slightly different length and head shape.

I can't tell you exactly but it was mentioned by a couple of places I went looking for steels and one said they would chuck them in for free, so it wasn't a money maker for them.

I know the dealer said these are needed for the winter wheels, so maybe it's a case of if they are not needed for the spare as the spare may have bolt holes created to match those on the alloy.

Sorry I can't give anything specific, but for me I wouldn't take a chance for a couple of £.

Fair point, more of a curiosity than a righteous stance. Thanks for the info
