Can anybody tell me if there are any extra proceedures in fitting a rack on my 4x4 hatch as opposed to a FWD model and an estimate to how long this should take a garage to fit.

Anybody have any thoughts on this one ?

Wasn't sure if the driveshaft would be in the way when replacing the rack.

Drop the subframe and you'll be fine, new bolts needed for the rack mounts and subframe

Takes a decent tech around an hour, give or take

2017 octavia 2.0 tdi . smoke from exhaust, whistling noise from turbo, burning oil. smoke looks whiteish/blueish. turbo pipes all ok. burning alot of oil. no fault codes or eml lights. only light on dash is orange oil can light

Hi, The boot release switch in the tailgate keeps getting stuck. I've tried blowing it out with compressed air etc but have just purchased this part. Is the skoda scala slave cylinder concentric and located inside the gearbox for all models, or is it just the 1.5 engine which doesn't have it on the outside of hte gearbox? I'm seeing different reports about whether the gearbox needs to be removed to check or replace it on a 1.0 litre engine.

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it.
