Nice wheels, don't forget the spigot ring. Think scooby's are 60mm or 70mm? Skoda will be 57.1mm

Aren't Scooby wheels 56.1mm centre bore? And what's the offset on those?

Aren't Scooby wheels 56.1mm centre bore? And what's the offset on those?

That's the first thing that sprang to my mind when I saw the first pic and these are almost the exact wheels I looked into fitting until I worked out they'd need the centre ring boring out to fit on the hub flushly!

I'm guessing you've done this though, so can't wait to see these on! :D

Could be interesting... They'll be at least 7J and they're new(ish - 1999).

I reckon they'll be ET50ish so will need a 10+mm spacer...

Extra 3-6mm because of the width, extra 6-10mm because of the difference in offset to the standard wheels.

They centre bore is another problem...

Evo V?

Very nice, whatever they're from.

Thanks all!!!

They are 17 x 7j ET 48, and around 9kg per wheel

The bore originally was 56.1 and used a M12 wheel bolt. They are now 57.1 with a M14 wheel bolt to fit and resprayed

They came of a Subaru Impreza (not sure what year) but are Speedline ST2 (Super Turismo)

Think the Year is 1997ish but these are the rims

Oooo, Nice!

How much did ya mate charge for the re-boring as this can be quite coslty to get done perfectly.

Theres 2 schools of thought on the hub bore hole.. some seem to think it doesn't matter as long as it fits and the bolts straighten up the wheel as they tighten as the bore lip is to aid fitting.

The other camp recon that the reason the bore lip is there is to take weight and if you go even slightly bigger than it then only the bolts take the weight of the car and this can cause bolts to sheer.

By the sonds of it though, your mate knows what he's doing.

I did my research before i bought them so knew all the changes i needed to make.

I got them done at SLT Engineering and was about a mornings work (First set of wheels he has done before)

I asked how much it would normally cost to do the wheels and he said it would have been about £60, which is not bad at all i think!!!

We measured everything about 20 times before we took the machine too them

Need pictures of the wheels on the car :)

 Nice ..................... Still need to see them on the car
