Introducing . . . the VRS Black Rat

Featured Replies

Ive had my Fabia for about 3 years after buying it off a lad (username Paxton) on this site, It came with a Dragon Tuning box and green air filter. Ive changed the wheels, lowered it, RARB, front upper and lower strut braces and a few other stuble cosmetic mods. A geek mate of mine (username Nobbafet) off this site who has a Octavian or something like that, suggested going onto the moors to check out some dogging sites, whilst we were there I took some photos of the black rat as ive named it. I missed the recent Castle Combe track day as I was on my hols but im signed up to the next one so might see you there!

First time ive posted photos so I hope it works, what do you think?

Nice car mate.

Love the rear lights

I have a set of pre facelift clusters on the way soon

and thats exactly what I was going to do with them!!!

As I suspected, it will look wicked!!

Nice job! Is it paint? Lamin-x? or fly eyes tinting the clear bits? :wonder:

MMMMMMMM Shiny, Shiny!

Looks really good, what's your future plans for it?

Thanks for the comments, the boot strip is Paxton's fault, a Milotec accessory which probably cost him a few quid, havent seen other fabias with it on so I left it. Ref the Boot 'V' badge, when I sprayed the front grill surround I just swapped the badges front to rear just for the hell of it.

Grrr666 - I thought long and hard about the lights, ive seen some (imo) ruined by being sparyed too dark, or all red, not my cuppa at all, I just used some tint spray about 7 coats until I was happy. The front lights are Laminx and suit the black colour of the car.

Lets hope I dont stack it at Castle Combe!!!

very nice!

your headlights look rather dark have you done somthing else apart from the suround bits like in my sig?

Black-Cat - Sensible future plans would be a Revo or Celtic Tuning remap (as their local) but I wouldnt want the expense of wrecking my clutch and having to replace it. The Dragon box should currently give it 160bhp ish and that OK for now I'll see how it goes at Castle Combe.

All my money at the moment is going into my Westfield, specifically a new £5k engine!!!

Was looking into doing what you have done but didnt fancy taking the bumper off, I'd have screws left over and probably an annoying rattle if I'd have had a go! Also didint like the idea of splitting the sealed lenses.

What wheels are they? They look great ;)
