Well finally finished all the wheels and the headlight inserts so thought i'd post up a couple of pics of how the car currently stands. I have her booked into the bodyshop for the 17th for colour coded door handles, grill and side strips and also getting them to fit the LCR splitter and then will put her on eibachs next month!

Are they going to take the handles off to paint them or not?

I've got a silver Fab and have fancied getting this done for ages but always thought the finish might be poor if they weren't!

P.S. I got Eibachs fitted a few months back and am well happy with looks, handling, ride, etc! Makes a difference!

I think they do take the handles off tbh with you, would be a pain trying to spray them on the car!

With your eibachs did you cut down or replace your bump stops for smaller ones?

Thanks, yeah its a friends 1.9 GTI, he picked it up for £1000 and I've never seen such a tidy car, immaculate condition i'm so jealous! And to think its 20 years old!
