Easy one, can i fit those gas strut things which will automatically lift and hold the bonnet open, to my Octy TDI Elegance?

The difficulty appeared to be getting AAT to actually send out the goods after we all paid for them.

On a more serious note , its a fairly straightforward job if you find some that exist and are for the octy

Got mine in 2 days after paying, fitted in 10 mins and worked lurvely ever since!

They look the part Dave. Did they fit to the existing holes without drilling etc?

And how much did they cost you?

You seem to have done some extensive work to your Octy, wich i had the money, oh and yeah the vRS might be useful too.

errm can't remember - but might i suggest you do a mini-group buy and pay for it in one go, thus sharing the cost of the bank tranfer?

Adrian and I both ordered direct from Milotec in Germany (via the web site). Basically you order what you want and they send you and email invoice detailing where you pay the money to. As soon as you've paid they courier you the goods.

JD - plenty done and loads more going on at the moment! The lifters bolt straight into existing holes with absolutely no drilling required. Lemon-squezy as they say
