Nice looking car! :D - you know a 1.8T vRS Octy can be taken out to that amount of power with not many mods at all.

 Nice one fatty :D

I'm running a '99 740i Sport (mmm 4.4 v8) at the mo along side the Octy. I went for the Umnitza DDE angel eyes - how are the Hella's??

How is the beast after its weekend mishap, Dave?

errrrr yeah OK perhaps 'running' was a bit optimistic hey Nick

The car is still abandoned in a BM garage somewhere between Windsor + Staines after it misfired and limped it's way there early Saturday morning. Looks like what happened is moisture got into the 'watertight' section where where there ECU is, water got into the harness connection to the ECU and has corroded the pins, 4 of which snapped on Saturday causing the problem! So now waiting for new ECU from Germany. Should be back on the road today or tomorrow. Luckily i only work about 1.5 miles from home so i can walk if I REALLY have to :D

Got to say - hats off to the BM technitions who spotted all the probs quickly and told me what was required to fix it. They reckoned that 'over enthusiatic' steam cleaning of the engine bay by valetters is to blame  Oh well - guess i'll have to wash it myself from now on (yeah right! )
