It is without doubt one of the most complex procedures I have ever come across for changing

gear oil.

The article goes a long way to explain why the costs are so high for this service.

I personally would be reluctant to entrust this complex task to a non-VAG/Skoda workshop.

I would be worried that non-VAG/Skoda workshops would not be in full information on how to

carry out this important task. Also in the possible event of a claim for the DSG unit, it could place

the claim in jeopardy.
