Wheel stud spacing

Featured Replies

I have ordered a 1.2 TSI DSG Estate and have a question regarding stud spacing. I replaced my steel wheels on my octavia mk1 with alloys and retained the steel rims with the intention of shodding them with winter tyres. As I still have the rims I was wondering if anyone could confirm that the fabia spacing/offset is the same as the early octavia, 5x100 PCD ET 35. I know that the original tyre size is too tall (195/65R15) and would have to find smaller rolling diameter (195/55R15) tyres.

the offset is 43 on the fabia II with 15 or 16inch wheels (see previous post)

Thanks, I hadn't searched adequately. What I also found during the search was a wheel offset calculator: http://marksink.com/tire_wheel_offset/offset.html :which gives the result as a distance, closer to or further from the strut and arch in mm
