Featured Replies

To be honest i think i was expecting it after reading others comments but i am still gutted that my new VRS will be delayed :'(

I placed my order in March and i was told the end of this month, 1st week in june but apparently it wont be getting built til the last week of this month now.

Bit gutted realy as i am going to Scotland in June and was looking forward to a few nice roads to have a play on

I ordered at the end of March and was told yesterday that it will be built w/c 17th May, delivery 3-4 weeks after that. To be honest that isn't too bad at around 11 to 12 weeks. Some people on here have/are being quoted around 20 weeks now

Sounds like our cars will be Skoda brothers and built at the same time lol :D

Yeah looks that way. I will keep you informed if i hear anything about shipping etc in the next few weeks but im guessing yours will go to Grimsby and mine to Port of Tyne based on dealer location. Be interesting to see which one arrives first. What engine/options did you go for out of interest, just to see if they are similar builds at the same kind of time?

This is why I got a second hand one

week 20 (17th May) for me too. I ordered a race blue petrol vRS hatch with spare wheel, maxidot, front and rear pdc, leather, heated seats, rear sun blinds, boot net, auto dimming mirror, auto wipers and light assist.

I got my new FL vRS estate for cheaper than a year old one - I'd rather wait 12 weeks, have a brand new car and a few hundred £ in my pocket.

Collecting car on Wednesday - a wait of 11.5 weeks from placing order to collection. :p

Oh and 0% interest.

Did I mention I get the vRS on Wednesday?!!! :p

Found out today that my car was to be built week 19 (rather than 20)...so that should have been this week just gone.... fingers crossed for a slightly earlier delivery :)

I know how difficult it is to wait for the car, but it could be worse...

Here in Aus, if you have to order a Skoda, the wait is much, much longer... I ordered mine in November last year, it was built in February, landed on our shores at the end of March, and finally received it this month!!

It's worth the wait though :D

Best of luck getting yours earlier than originally thought..

Is this all due to overwhelming demand for the Octavia?
