SE interior trim

Featured Replies

Hi. We may be prospective Yeti purchasers!

We've recently driven a 1.2 dsg Yeti: my wife thinks it's great, and I'm pretty impressed myself.

I know there is a choice of upholstery for the SE, but please can anyone advise if there is a choice of dash/interior trim eg black/grey or black/black? The Skoda-auto site says there's a choice of 4 door trims for Ambition spec which i think is the equivalent to SE but I can't see a reference to this in the UK brochure.

I'm not sure about engines so I wonder if anyone has any more information about when or if a 1.4 (DSG?) will become available, and if the TDI 140 is still scheduled to become available with DSG in June.

Thanks

Hi helix,

the UK SE Yeti's all have the black/black interior with the 'Quartz' insert running across the dash. Seating and door card wise you can select from silver or blue insert panels.

James at Allams has confirmed the 1.4TSI is in the pipeline but as far as I know not in DSG. From what I've read etc. the TDI CR 140 DSG is still planned for production from WK22 (June).

Not seen any literature over here but a CZ PDF brochure for a Limited Edition in the home country lists all the new engine combinations.

Also note from the link that only the 81kW 2WD is listed as more fuel efficient than the 125 kW CR engine, and that a 125 CR+ will be available from July 2010 with even lower fuel consumption.

I wonder what they are doing to the 125 kW in July? Presumably slightly smaller turbo, improving lower rpm performance, allowing even lower rpm for everyday driving? It might also indicate that the current 125 kW is actually quite a bit more????

Very interessstin'. (Col. Klink)

Thanks very much TP.

Thanks for the link.

From that it would also appear that 170HP with DSG is coming. Goodie!! :D:D

Rats! Just "read" it again and it looks like just the 140 HP with DSG. Still, better than nothing.

WOW.

Looking at prices, the difference beetween the italian and the cech brochure is quite high.

for example the difference beetween 1.2 TSI 77 kw and the 2.0 tdi 81 kw in italy is almost 5000 euros,

in cech republic this difference is less than 2000 euros.

The difference beetween the forecoming 1.8 and the 1.2 would be only 800 euro in Cechia.

maybe this would mean about 2000 euros in Italy-

Maybe too much
