Unless you have specifically ordered a car that is about to enter build week 20 ie next week then you are highly unlikely to et the car before the end of the month, and quite frankly any expectation that a new car will be delivered that quickly is IMHO naive.

If you cancel the order then you will lose your deposit. The wait is generally due to the popularity of the car and the availability of parts, so if you order a spec. that is very popular across the VAG range then there will be delays

surely any good dealer would be factoring the depreciation into any part exchange deal over a long order process. I know when mine was valued I was asked to work out how many miles I would likely to do in the next 12 weeks and then add some to ensure that the valuation was realistic

Seem's the 11 week wait had affected my mental state and Paranoia was begining to creep in!
