iv had the same engin power and size for 2and a half years it seems that somethings wrong. can any one help me out to try and get this down a bit............................. forgot to say im from northen ireland :|

Change company. Phone around a few others to see what you can get it down too. Sounds like your existing company has had some bad experiences with Fabia VRSs and is hiking premiums up (alot)!!!

Plus sometimes it's often a very local issue - if that company has paid out on a stolen car from your particular postcode in the past year it can make a difference. Having said that, at the end of the day nearly all insurance companies are money grabbing so and so's who no longer have any concept of maintaining valued customers and who will subsidise discount prices for new customers with higher prices for existing ones. The answer of course is to be a new customer yourself somewhere else...

Start getting other quotes but also ring them, a jump that size without any change in circumstances is either an error on their part or the business has changed. I had a similar experience when a comany I was with was taken over & the new owner didnt want performance cars anymore. 1000 squids if you have a good record is plain wrong

yep mine went up by nearly £400!! Shopped around and in the end stayed with the same company as they then did it for the cheaper price!

So yeah shop about and then go back to your insurance company.

Change companies.

They get you in cheaply and pump up the renewals year on year.
