Reliability

I had my 04 1.9tdi elegance for 5 years and a 100k. In that time:

Aircon compressor went (2 wweks inside warranty). - warranty

Rust on tailgate. - warranty

egr valve started leaking,however, advised that it not worth replacing, just wipe up the oil every so often.

Lead to the aircon compressor corroded and needed replaced - circa £70

It had 2 sets of pads and one set of discs in that time and othr than normal servicing I had the water pump replaced.
