aww its not robbies its mine lol :)

Sorry mate... I'm tired and I mis read...

My apologies sir.

Nice ride mate ... I toyed with the idea of a double din headunit

but I have a parrot kit in already and I have so little room behind there as it is....

Anyway, I'd want a dvd one and that will get me a divorce!!!

If I could naff off out to the car to watch a movie rather than sit through yet another

pile of crap that she wants to watch...

I doubt she'd ever see me :D That's the unit with the changeable colour display isn't it...

Considered one of those for Mrs Grrs SDI. Looks funky! Almost neon...

Hi boro86,

Awesome car you have there wish we have these VRS here . . . . . . .

We just got a 2005 Fabia 1.4 MPI manual, grossly under powered, I might add.

The stock brakes works well now, but we are getting a bodykit on, when it arrives sometime

next month and some 16 or 17 inch alloys to go on as well.

Now, some 312mm front brake rotors will really complete the "look".

Question : What do I need to get these 312mm brakes on ?

Do they come complete as a kit, i.e. rotors, caliper carrier and calipers ?

If you can point me to a online seller and a indication of price paid, it will be greatly appreciated.

We are also getting the Koni Str kit too.

I know you'll lose most if not all the comfort but how would you rate this kit ?

I also know that comfort level is subjective but gun to the head, what would you say ?

(1) Bone Jarring (2) Harsh (3) Hard (4) Firm

We generally have very good roads here.

Thanks.

hey skodasg,

the 312mm setup is straight swap on the fabia vrs. im sure if its a non-vrs u need to also buy the vrs hubs, maybe u could upgrade to the vrs brakes? im not sure if urs are smaller than the standard vrs brakes.

i paided £230 for everything. got the calipers and carriers from this site.

only had the koni kit on for a week but the comfort is about the same. still nice ride. just sits lower and handles amazing. id give it 10/10 for what i wanted :)

Hi boro86,

Thanks for the reply.

But do you know if the 1.4 MPI hubs are different from the VRS ? I mean they are both 5x100 PCD, right ?

Are they lower arms/knuckles the same for the 2 cars ?

Sorry, many questions, new to the Fabia.

By the way, awesome looking black car there.

We are not going for power mods here but more for the looks . . . .;), to look as good a some of the cars here . . . ;)

no probs, im 90% sure the 1.4hubs are different to the VRS, thats why i think the VRS brakes fit the 1.4, but to get the 312mm brakes u would need VRS hubs aswell as the 312mm calipers.

not sure about the arms on the 1.4

hope that helps abit
