Octavia Wiring for front fog lamps

Featured Replies

Woohoo!.... first post.

I own a 2008 Skoda Octavia Ambiente 2.0 tdi.

It has no fog lights and I would llike to have them put in to improve the look of the car. My local Skoda garage doesn't know if the car is already wired to do this. From what they tell me it costs a lot to get the wire and loom, etc and have it all installed.

Can anyone tell me if this Octavia model already has the wiring to take the fog lights??

Would really apprecaite a clear answer on this.

Ta'

It probably doesn't have the wiring there, unfortunately.

However, on the old octavia, the foglight was part of the headlight unit, so the wiring may be there as it's all on a multiplug. Not sure if the newer octavia has separate foglights though.

Welcome to forum by the way

Thanks for that. It seems weird that even the Skoda garage can not give a clear answer on this. Do you know how I could get a definite answer on this? ?

Errrrr, not sure really.

Maybe someone on the forum who has an octavia without fogs can have a quick look?
