Anyone got a spare one

Featured Replies

A 2 into 1 Ariel connector for the MDF3, or know where I can get one from, I only have one Ariel cable from the roof to the set and want to connect both Aeriel ports on the back of the set

Why bother?

I have retrofited a MFD2 and used only one conector. The radio reception is perfect.

Reception in my area is patchy, I want to conect both ports so I can listen to the rubbish AM when the GP is on and also have the RDS work as well

The MFD3 has two ariel sockets, one for FM and other for AM. No idea why. The MFD2 only has one and as you say the reception is perfect

MDF3 - made of wood?

The connectors you speak of are here;

My link

Works out at about £70-odd, plus postage.

Thanks for the link Wavey, that's the thing I was looking at, but someone posted a link on here showing just a cable connector, it had the main cable going into a split cable with the 2 ends that go into the unit, but I cannot find it
