Hi guys, I'll be taking delivery of my Octavia 1.6TDI on Thursday, out of interest are there many options for tuning on these yet? I've seen tuning boxes on eBay advertised but you'd be lucky to see much change out of £500. Any advice gratefully recieved, thanks!

Wouldn't go down the tuning box route if you can get the car remapped

Tuning boxes alter the fuel pressure, remaps can alter everything else

On Skodaforum.nl a thread on the same subject caused some discussion. Remap of the 1.6 cr seems not possible yet, but 'they' are working on it.

There is no remap options I know of for this engine/ECU at this point in time I'm afraid.
