Removing boot lid badge.

Featured Replies

Hi all, my boot lid badge is looking rather tatty. What is the best way of removing it without damaging the paint work?

Also where is the best place to buy them?

On a side note do vRS wheel centers exisit or will I have to buy the stick on ones?

how do mate , not sure about removing the badge but i think it may involve removing the trim inside the bootlid to gain rear access.

you can buy new badges and wheel centres etc from 'theskodashop.co.uk'. its a cracking site. i've just bought a new vrs gearstick insert badge and the

service was spot on. hope this helps buddy

You can get the boot badge off by carefully prising it off, no need for dismantling.

Use a bit of dental floss or similar to slide between the badge and the panel and cut the adhesive with it. White spirit or tar and glue remover with careful use of a plastic scraper should do for removing any residue.
