Turbo boost

Featured Replies

When I boost up underload , the turbo boost is uneven.

Any suggestions what it could be ?

Describe "uneven"

Is there a hesitation? Are you remapped?

Could be a leaking boost or vacuum hose or faulty N75 valve which controls the wastegate, or as Bertee said a fault with the engine map (if its been remapped).

If it "feels" like it's hesitating are you sure it is the boost or could it be the fueling / ignition? Are you watching a boost gauge to know that the boost is not going up smoothly?

Hi i have had my octavia tdi remaped from 110 bhp to 130 , it has been done about one year, when the turbo spools up it surges to you get to about 2000 revs ,wondering weather it could be injectors
