Pollen filter location

I was looking to change my pollen filter but I'm slightly unsure about it's location. Under the glovebox, I removed a soft polystyrene cover to reveal...

I think thats the housing cover and I had to slide the two (one out of shot) plastic clips to allow me access, trouble is I can't move the thing and using so much pressure I can sense plastic bits about to snap.

Can someone confirm I have got the right place, do I just need to be more brutal?

Anybody? Please?

Just want to know if I've got the right bit.

Hi, I'm sure that the pollen filter is in that area but not sure if that is the exact location, it looks to be. Hopefully someone who has replaced one will be along to give you some better advice.

Yes that is the pollen filter. You slide the 2 clips (only one visible on the photo) to the centre together then the filter/frame will pull out.

Thanks for the replies, maybe it's just got a bit stuck. A bit more brute force required I think.
