Felicia 1.6 K&N 57i induction kit fitted

Featured Replies

Recently fitted a k&n 57i induction kit to my felicia 1.6. I brought the induction kit which was meant to be for a polo 1.6 8v mpi and it fits the felicia no problem. I also made and fitted my own heat shield from some aluminum sheet.

How does it run and sound?

Sounds pretty good imo, you can certainly tell its on up to around 70mph with good throttle response and it seems to idle better, but if you want to go over 70 it doesnt seem to want to, heat soak maybe.

Looks Good mate, just done the same with my 1.3mpi. What did you do with the crankcase breather pipe? (I've heard various things suggesting that removing it entirely greatly effects fuel economy.)

The induction kit came with a pipe which goes from the filter itself to the breather pipe so i just connected them as its supposed to.
