Hi

My mums 06 fabia vRS needs a cam belt change and due to a bit of bad service, she's lost confidence in here local Skoda workshop.

So she's asked me to do it :'( I'm an HGV fitter, have lots of tools etc and have changed the cam belt, water pump, tensioner, idler, and engine mounting bolts on my octy vRS....no problem.

But, I've not worked on a 130 PD engine before....not even sure what engine code it is ???

So please could you tell me what other additional parts have to be replaced at the same time as the belt ???? and if any special tools are required to lock the crank, fuel pump and cam shaft ????
