Nesting Robins

Featured Replies

so, i'm pottering in the back garden the other day when i notice an American Robin fly out from under my deck. presuming it must have been rummaging around for insects etc i think nothing of it, then i notice said bird sat on my fence squawking its tiny head off at me. curious, i crouch down to have a look and i find a little nest B) i let the bird settle down then grabbed the camera..

Nice :)

Maybe Mama Robin would appreciate a spot of entertainment (must be a boring job, brooding):

the kids are growing up fast! all 5 have made it this far but only 2 are visible from this angle. the male bird is a dab hand at divebombing us if we show our faces in the garden

Awww cute

Excellent - I had robins inside my garage last year - had to be really careful going in and out and getting the car out - especially when they had fledged but not ventured into the outside world! Also had to make sure I put the roof up on the MX5 at night...
