Rodney - you dipstick!!!

Dipstick related query!

Having read on here that the Octy is likely to use a bit of oil whilst running in and for the first 2000 miles, I thought I should check the level in my car.

The manual says that it is best done when the engine is warm after waiting 5 mins for the oil to drain back into the sump. So one 'spirited' drive later I checked the level. Seems the level has not budged at all :)

Thinking about it - I can't recall a single one of my other cars which have ever needed the oil topped up

Some do some dont, no rhyme or reason to it.
