...and I think it looks great :)

I have not got any photos as yet because its now too late to get one, but I've taken the "FABIA" and "RS" badge off the back, and it now looks much cleaner and the back of the car looks less clutered.

However, even better is how much more stealthy it looks now, with nothing on the back to tell the driver behind there is anything special about this car. I've noticed straight away that perception of drivers behind to my car is different straight away. Most people arent seeming to bother tailgating me now, and the one guy who did was in a 1.2 SXI Corsa, so as soon as we hit the 60 limit, bye bye Corsa, then eventually when I got stuck behind someone else he caught up, and looked VERY confused

The residue seemed to leave a few small marks but they have T-cutted out by and large, definitely looks much better and more stealthy :)

I'm now thinking of removing the FABIA letters, vrs badge already removed, as they really collects the muck.

The Fabia does seem to have lots of little places around the rear end to collect road grime. :(

I took the fabia sign off as sson as I wash the car for the first time. Left the VRS badge as I liked to the look (Smaller badge)

Good to hear it mate, as you know i did the same with mine about a week ago ;)

Looks alot cleaner without the Fabia badge. Left the Skoda one on of course :D

how did u get the 'sticky' muck off? i've got some on the back of mine and i'm having a hell of a job getting it off without scratching the paint

Have you tried lighter fuel, petrolium based does the job.

WD40 did the trick for me last time I took a badge off. That and a bit of elbow grease - job done

You could also try Eucalyptus oil. It removes all kinds of glue and is safe on most surfaces. Just dont get it on your skin.. it stinks and can do some damage (no idea what though)

You can get it from most health shops.

I've used it to debage my car (not a Skoda though so the glue may be different and 3 years old at the time. But once removed you couldnt see where the badge had been) and to remove tape glue from various things (Including the brown packing tape glue that is a real sod to remove)

Just use a small amount on a rag, shouldn't even need to rub to hard.
