Featured Replies

hi all, this has prob been mentioned 1000's of times before but im just after peoples opinions . What do people think is the best induction kit for the 1.8t ( mk1 vrs ) ? any which the maf dont like ? think i read somewhere that it dont like foam filters ... anyone know if this is true? ( as was lookin at pipercross vis )

cheers

No CAI is technically any good for the vRS... Does sound lovely though :giggle:

My advice is keep the standard airbox and stick a better panel filter in it. You could also remove the fins inside it and drill more holes in the bottom half of it.

The CAIs give you little if any extra bhp as Bertee said they just make a nice noise. And when some of them are almost £200 (like the Carbonio), is it really worth it.
