can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction

as some may know ive stripped my octy bare and took out the heating and cooling system with it

i first bypassed the matrix with a pipe which came off at 6000rpm near on 100mph at castle combe no personal injury but it got a little hot for a while :S

my question is has anyone else done this and what did they do

my idea was to blank it off completely but unsure if the flow is need through where the matrix should be

matrix is to heat interior, so unless there is some random sensor you shold be able to remove it without issue. On golfs have seen a u shaped copper pipe fitted between the feed and return pipe allowing the matrix to be removed, cant see it would be any different on the octy, also if you did this in the engine bay it would remove the chance of the pipes leaking in the car.

yer i put a bypass in but it blew off on track il have to try again see if i can get it too stay
