New Brochure

Featured Replies

Just seen the new brochure of 25/5/10 which shows the Tangerine metallic paint option, also heated windscreen(but not on 1.2!). Irritating how Skoda are gradually giving us the options that the Continent have already had, just when it's too late to add to your order. The diesel DSG is also there, which we may have gone for, I was half expecting electric folding mirrors as well, I suppose they'll creep in later!

Still, I suppose this is what you get with new models, never mind, all the Yeti's seem to have good write-ups, so we'll have to be content with our 1.2 SE DSG when it arrives eventually!

Do they still have the panoramic sunroof in there ?

Actually can answer that myself.

ALL mention of the sunroof has been removed from the brochure.

Just to let you know my situation, ordered 1.2 Storm Blue Elegance on 15th May with Sunroof option from UK Car Discount. Emailed them yesterday about the sunroof situation and they haven't heard about it, but have emailed Skoda to ask. I am pretty sure UK Car Discount deal directly with Skoda.

Thanks for the info,

noticed the new brochure reflects the change to Model Year 2011 (from WK22/10) and the introduction of the 2nd generation 170 CR+ engine (CO2 drops to 155)

Regards,

TP

We ordered ours 1st april, latest news is a July delivery, no firm date yet, luckily didn't order a sunroof!

No mention of the anticipated 1.4 tsi though.

steel grey which was...then changed to platin grey ,has now gone back to steel grey.....god help us :D ..wonder if we will eventually get a steel platin steel grey yeti lol

Hi,

not due in production until July, so knowing SUK will have to wait till then for this engine to be included in any literature.

Regards,

TP

I tell you what is quite funny, the picture they have on the front is of a Yeti with the Sunroof :giggle:

Still no MDI!

Grrr.

Strangely enough just been given a delivery estimate of early September.

Still no MDI!

Grrr.

Although it can be retro fitted pretty easily so no major issue.

Yeah, that is good. I do prefer the idea of it coming fitted fresh from the factory rather than having to take a new car apart though to fit an option that is readily available elsewhere including on RHD cars!

I do get frustrated with Skoda UK sometimes. I might be looking to replace my Roomster in a year or so, either with a facelift Roomster 1.2 TSI or a Yeti. No Bluetooth option on the Roomster and no factory build MDI option on the Yeti (although each has the other and both can be built at the factory with these options!)

ANY MENTION OF ELECTRIC MEMORY SEATS LIKE ON THE EUROPEAN MODELS??????????

Can the new brochure be downloaded from Skoda's website yet?????

Yes it can, I've just done it, all 28 pages of it! regards Jessica

Enormous differences with european versions.

You have a plenty of choices and very very good prices.

Next time i'll come to UK to buy my new car,

The only problem would be the right side drive...

Does anyone have any idea whether the Heated Front Windscreen could be retrofitted? I would have loved that option... so useful in Winter.

Not sure about that sorry Dave, ask your local dealer.

I didn't opt for that coz our SM will be garaged when not in use :D

See post #8 re. Brochure

Would appear not then :'(

mm orange! :)

So no electric memory seats for the UK spec SMs' then :'(

And what an AWFUL Photoshop they did for the front cover! The previously Aqua Blue car has been photoshopped to something that might be pink, red or anything BUT an actual colour you might want to order! Pathetic that they can't just go out and take one pic of each colour and print them one per page in big glossy A3 as per the Aqua blue one on page 9...

SUK certainly make the most awful brochures. You can just see they are done by marketing types that have never bought a car in their life and only ever use public transport. In contrast look at the lovely Audi brochure for the new A1:

http://www.audia1net.co.uk/audi-a1-brochure.pdf

Nearly every option with a decent description and price, big full page pictures of cars in various colours as well as interior shots. The Yeti brochure has full page colour images of an aerial view of a UK town and minuscule "stapled" Poloraid images of the car. Totally useless as a tool to help you order a car. And don't get me started on the website! (half of which don't work on my Mac or my PC at work).
