Just bought my first Octavia 1.9 Tdi estate 1999, with believe it or not, only 81,000 miles one previous owner, Banbury council. The car is like new, both inside and out and i must say, i prefer it to previous car, which i only had for a few months, a 2001 Passat 2 ltr petrol estate. For the six years before that, i had been driving Toyota Hilux Surfs, which are great, but my old Irish Wolfhound, it was getting a bit high to jump in and out. Through the Surf forum, i saved a lot of money on parts and help, plus met quite a few members as i exhibit Formula Power Ignition Leads, at car shows.
