clutch pedal on floor

Featured Replies

I have an 06' octavia (new shape) and the clutch pedal stuck to floor, garage said it was master cylinder so got new one and also the pipe that it fixes to.

These dont seem to be fitting together tightly enough to stop it leaking fluid at the join

and so within few hrs of driving the pedal drops to the floor again.

The parts are genuine skoda parts and our garage is very reputable.

Have been back to Skoda but they want to send parts of to check them which will take about 2wks but the problem being

this is my living and cant afford to have the car off the road any more.

Any ideas anybody,i'm desperate.

Cheers

Sounds like the clutch master cylinder is loosing pressure, you may not be loosing fluid but the rubbers inside could have gone
