Hi there, I actually joined this site back in October 2008, with the idea of buying a Skoda.

Sadly it didn't work out then, but now I have finally bought an Octavia! My husband is quite jealous as he had to give his up about six months ago (he had a company car) and ended up with a Ford Galaxy.

Being an engineer the Octavia is ideal in terms of safety, economy, boot space and being lucky enough to have found a reasonably priced Laurin and Klement version, I now have comfort, air-con and the all important cruise control for the average speed camera sections!
