Please help...stereo problems

Featured Replies

I brought my Skoda Octavia Estate at the beginning of the year and have had no problems with it at all until yesterday.

i returned to the car and upon starting it up the stereo displayed CD ERROR and now i can not get the stereo to make any sound. If you select the radio the display is normal but no sound is heard. if you try and select the dash mounted cd it displays NO CD even though i know there is one in there and cannot eject it and if you select the cd changer it just keeps displaying PLEASE WAIT!

I would really appreciate some help and advice. I'm new to all this so sorry if i posted in the wrong place.

if you want a stream for spares or to use you can have my old one for free and i live in essex too.

Pull the fuse out for 60 seconds (make sure you have code if needed). The radio fuse in mine is the 15A in the middle of the engine bay fuse panel.

Pull the stereo out and make sure the connections are in tight and havent wiggle loose at all.
