2009 OCTAVIA VRS TUNING PARTS

Featured Replies

HI Everyone,

Can anyone help with advice on tuning parts for my 2009 Octavia VRS, ie; is there a front strut brace available, a front and rear anti roll bar available and wheel spacers and bolts? Also where they are available from.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks in advance.

front strut brace or rear strut brace for that matter are not required on the mk5 chassis. the shell is something like 200% stiffer than the mk4.

it seems like the route you want to take is the handling, which is a pretty good plan.

my spec until last month was:

eibach front and rear anti roll bars

Whiteline anti lift kit

AP coilovers

i stripped everything off my car to sell it and changed my mind so this is my new chassis mods list.

whiteline front and rear anti roll bars

Whiteline anti lift kit

whiteline bump steer kit

audi TT lower control arms

a good brake upgrade

and to finish it off ill be purchasing a diff.

try the octy II forum for more info. id also reccommend the www.mk5golfgti.co.uk forum as well. very very keen list of members of which id say 90% have modded their cars or are in the process of doing so (GTI, vRS, Leon, S3 etc, all the same chassis/engine)
