Side lamps

Hi there forum, I have a very stupid question for you all because i am hopeless at anything car related.

I failed my car test on a few things including a bulb being gone in my driver's side side lamp..

The stupid question is.. What is a side lamp so i can find out where i am meant to put the new bulb? :blush:

Any help would be appreciated, and feel free to poke fun at my stupidity

A side lamp is the tiny 5watt bulb,the one that stays on when you take key out of ignition in your headlamps

Hello, I accidentally ran a master initialization adaptation reset inside my ABS module using OBDeleven, and it completely cleared out my long coding profile. My module is now showing a persistent 'Control module not coded' fault. My diagnostic device identifies the blank block template as a 29-byte structure. 65 Reg Octavia estate All my other windows work ok but on the driver's door window I have to hold down the button until the window is fully open. A quick press of the button closes it just fine but opening is the problem. There's no info in the manual that helps I can't help thinking I've had this problem before and somehow solved the problem but I can't remember how. My online research suggested holding the button down until it opened fully and continue holding for a few seconds, then closi

Hi, hopefully you won't mind my question here - I don't have an Octavia, but its close relative from a Spanish brand. But mechanically, they are same. Anyway, I have a 77kW CBZB. It worked flawlessly for the year I own the car, but when this summer started, I noticed occasional loss of power. It only happens in hot weather (around 30 degrees and up) with AC on. In most cases, it happened when I wanted to accelerate after mild climbing at lower gear at ~2000RPM. It feels almost like a limp mode
